Andrew McFarlane, BSc (Hons), IEng, MICE, CMgr, MCMI

Andrew is an Incorporated Engineer through the Institution of Civil Engineers with over 12 year’s experience in Highway and Active Travel Engineering. He is also a Chartered Manager through the Chartered Management Institute.
As a Senior Engineer, Andrew project manages National Cycle Network Improvement works across Scotland. Prior to joining Sustrans, Andrew worked within the Transportation team for a number of years at SWECO working across major highway schemes and for the Local Authorities team which largely consisted of active travel and local infrastructure development projects.
Andrew has a firm belief that the outdoors should be both enjoyed and respected by everyone.

As a Senior Engineer for Sustrans Scotland, Andrew McFarlane project manages National Cycle Network Improvement works across Scotland.
